Thanksgiving Turkey NIGHTCAT Part 1

Here's a never-reprinted Thanksgiving Turkey from the 1990s...

...combining Footloose, Flashdance, and Frankenstein, with then-trendy references and clothing, produced by some rather interesting big-name creators!

Because this is a comic book?
Be here next week when we discover how amazingly-accurate Jaqueline's premonition is!
Plotted by Barry Dutter & Jim Salicrup
Scripted by Stan Lee
(yes, that Stan Lee!)
Penciled by Denys Cowan
Inked by Jimmy Palmiotti
With Dazzler achiving some sales success, Marvel decided to try again in 1991, this time following-through with the idea of using a real songstress performing in costume that they wanted to do with Dazzler.
In partnership with RCA Records, Marvel hired model/singer Jaqueline Tavarez to embody the character.

  1. So campy but was it deliberate? "When her singing career failed, she lost the will to live!" "it was the music that killed her!"

    1. It was written by Stan (The Man) Lee.
Hyperbolic prose is his style...but it did get out of hand later in his career.
